As we make our way through Exodus with God is telling Moses what will be needed for His Tabernacle, a verse causes me to stop and think.
“And the LORD has given both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach their skills to others.” Exodus 35:34, NLT
Apparently God knows that teaching your abilities to do something is as important as doing it yourself! Workers to build the Tabernacle will increase exponentially by teaching others what you have the ability to do. This excites me to see this particular verse this morning. It begs the question for thought from all of us…what am I now doing now that I could teach to someone else AND what am I learning from someone to potentially do in the future? True leaders are learners! Outstanding, confident leaders are teachers!
Dear Heavenly Father, You bring us to focus every single morning on what You want in and from all of us. Thank you for Your Word that reminds us that we need to “go and make disciples” as well as BE a disciple of Yours. I’m Yours, LORD. Have it Your way…in me.
In Jesus Name, Amen
