WHO says that? Stop giving? How many times in your life have you heard that? Not many in my lifetime. Have you been involved in a church building project? Were the people told to stop giving? I can’t think of a time when that happened. Maybe it’s happened to you.

“Moses gave them the materials donated by the people for the completion of the sanctuary. Additional gifts were brought each morning. But finally the craftsmen left their work to meet with Moses. ‘We have more than enough materials on hand now to complete the job the LORD has given us to do!’ they exclaimed.” Exodus 36, NLT

“So Moses gave the command, and this message was sent throughout the camp: ‘Bring no more materials! You have already given more than enough.’ So the people stopped bringing their offerings. Their contributions were more than enough to complete the whole project.” Exodus 36, NLT

Stop giving! We have MORE THAN ENOUGH! Wow!

God gave. He gave MORE THAN ENOUGH. He gave His Son to save us. Do we give “more than enough” today? Until we are told by others to stop? We have more than enough. Wow, What a thought today!

Dear Heavenly Father, You gave. We cannot out give You, but we can give as You lead until You say that is “more than enough”. Help us to be more cheerful, generous givers. Thank you for all You have given us. It IS more than enough. In Jesus Name, Amen
