“So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you; Take your everyday, ordinary life–your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around-life and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him.” Romans 12:1, Msg

I do want the best thing for this Friday, last day of the work week for some of us. Again, today, I give up myself, all of it, no matter what I think of myself, no matter what circumstances surround me…I give it all to you. 

By giving up all of myself, I pick up and take hold of all of You, dear Lord. I cherish and truly embrace all of Who You are and what You continually do for us. As a child runs to embrace us with a big bear hug, I run to You, dear Lord to embrace You, all of You, Your work in us, Your provision for us, and most of all, Your salvation. I am embracing the truth that I am free. I embrace the truth that I am valuable in Your eyes for You created me. I embrace the truth that You have a purpose for creating me. I embrace You. 

I pray all my friends, family and my enemies will embrace You, too. Help them take hold, embrace all of You, too. In Jesus Name, Amen
