“LORD, sustain me as you promised, that I may live! Do not let my hope be crushed. Sustain me, and I will be saved; then I will meditate on your principles continually.”

God’s Word speaks life to us, sustains us through troubles, and works on us to live on focused with “higher ground” thinking and behaving. Troubles do not crush our hopes and dreams, we do by taking our focus off the God who loves us, through our trials and sufferings, on the journey to becoming more and more like Jesus, His Son. 

So, take heart!, as Jesus said. He has overcome the world! Let us live today (and always) as overcomers, no matter what our current circumstances. Don’t let the circumstance guide us, but let the Holy Spirit teach us. 

Dear Heavenly Father, We love you. We rely on you to sustain through good times and bad. You provide the grace, mercy and unconditional love that we need most in this life. Thank you for “being on our side” because our faith and focus remains with You. We know full well, without You, we can do nothing. With You we are expectant, hopeful, enthusiastic and redeemed! Help us live it today!
