It’s been a busy weekend and it’s not over yet! Today we corporately worship our Lord and Savior, giving thanks to God for what He has done and what He will do. We offer our bodies as a sacrifice with a desire to live to please Him. We love him with all our hearts, minds, and souls.
Then as I read the next passage of the Psalmist “conversation” with God, a silly thought, with a popular song coming to mind…(made famous by the Monotones) made me smile this morning. God, I love your sense of humor. Why put this song in my head? Many STILL wonder who…
I wonder, wonder who, who-oo-ooh, who
(Who wrote the Book Of Love)
Tell me, tell me, tell me
Oh, who wrote the Book Of Love
I’ve got to know the answer
Was it someone from above
(Oh, I wonder, wonder who, mmbadoo-ooh, who)
(Who wrote the Book Of Love)
I love you darlin’
Baby, you know I do
But I’ve got to see this Book of Love
Find out why it’s true
(Oh, I wonder, wonder who, mmbadoo-ooh, who)
(Who wrote the Book Of Love)
Well today WE KNOW who wrote the book of Love and so does the Psalmist!! And we both Love the Book because we love and worship the AUTHOR!
Let joy rush over you like a mighty river leaving it’s banks, live expectantly, and full of hope as we meditate on this passage.
“Your decrees are wonderful. NO WONDER I obey them! As your words are taught, they give light; even the simple can understand them. I open my mouth, panting expectantly, longing for your commands. Come and show me your mercy, as you do for all who love your name. Guide my steps by your word, so I will not be overcome by any evil.”
Rescue me from the oppression of evil people; then I can obey your commandments. Look down on me with love; teach me all your principles. Rivers of tears gush from my eyes because people disobey your law.” Psalm 119:129-136, NLT

Dear Heavenly Father,
We love You back because You first loved us! Your Book of Love allows us to learn from You. Your book teaches how to love others like You love us. Now give us clarity and boldness to live it…out loud…in ways to bring you glory and praise.
In Jesus Name and By His Power, Amen
