The Palmist wrote of it, we sing it out loud at church, but do we live like we believe it? There is NO one like our God! If there is a smile on your face as you say it, then you probably are believing and living it. You are probably an encouraging person for others. It’s all because we KNOW there is NO ONE like our GOD! God give us hope as we begin each new day, reading about “The Beginning”.

“And God said, ‘Let bright lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night. They will be signs to mark off the seasons, the days, and the years. Let their light shine down upon the earth.’ And so it was. For God made two great lights, the sun and the moon, to shine down upon the earth. the greater one, the sun, presides during the day; the lesser one, the moon, presides through the night. He also made the stars. God set these lights in the heavens to light the earth, to govern the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. This all happened on the fourth day.” Genesis 1:14-19, NLT

I am so glad mankind is not in control of day and night…for there would be no time for rest and recuperation if that were so. God separated day from night for our own good. Don’t mess with God’s perfect plan. Lesson learned. 

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for day and night, for light and dark, for work and rest. You saw that it was good and we agree. You are good. All things good come from You. There is NO ONE like You, God, our Father. Help us live what we believe. Make others wonder what and Who we’ve got in our hearts by the smile You put on our faces, no matter what our circumstances might be. Thank you for the peace your perfectly designed world gives us. In Jesus Name, Amen
