It was a beautiful sight to see, the grandkids in awe of God’s creation, watching all kinds of sea creatures dart and dash as we walked into the tunnel, under the water. They were excited to see sharks, starfish, and all colors of fish swimming in schools above us at the Aquarium. As a big group of small fish went by, I leaned down, pointed to the them and told our youngest, whose mouth was open in awe, with bright eyes gawking, that the group was called a ‘school of fish”. He quickly said, “No, schools out for spring break, that’s why we are here.”
“And God said, ‘Let the waters swarm with fish and other life. Let the skies be filled with birds of every kind.’ So God created great sea creatures and every sort of fish and every kind of bird. And God saw that it was good. Then God blessed them, saying, ‘Let the fish multiply and fill the oceans. Let the birds increase and fill the earth.’ This all happened on the fifth day.”
Genesis 1:20-25, NLT
As amazing as the Aquarium was, to see so many different kinds of mammals and fish swarm that small body of water above and below us, how much greater it must of been as God filled the seas and skies with these beautiful, colorful creatures that day, Day Five. Wow, we are in awe of You, Your Power and Majesty! We meditate even now, with remembering what we saw with grateful hearts
Dear Heavenly Father, Creator, We are truly in awe of You and what You have created. Thank you. You are indeed Alpha and Omega. You are also Savior. Thank you for redeeming us and bringing us back to you. We love You back. We appreciate the beauty you have created. Help us always to remember Who started it all. And is IN all. In Jesus Name, Amen
