Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. Romans 12:2, The Message

Embrace God. Just meditate on those two words of tremendous power and thought. This is the last thing our enemy would have us do, you know. Herein lies our daily battle.

Embrace God. Embrace, defined as a verb, is holding someone close to your heart with affection and endearment. It also means to accept and fully believe willingly and enthusiastically.
We all know that God created all and is in all, so why do we follow our noses into a smelly, dark world that leads us farther away from Him? If we embrace God with a desire to please Him, following His guidance, it is harder to latch on to what the world wants…our destruction. To embrace is not let go but let God. We cannot embrace God while trying to embrace something else.

Staying in the arms of God, we are less likely to fall. But if we do, with this embrace comes strong arms to catch us when we slip on thin ice. This embrace guides us to more sure footing. God’s embrace takes us to higher, greater places of thought. All the while transforming us from the inside out as we gaze deep into His eyes of unconditional love, mercy and grace. Overtime we develop into all He intended for us to be…at His best in us. Well-formed maturity. We want nothing else, nothing less than Jesus power and salvation and our Father’s pleasure when He looks down into our eyes and sees His reflection.
