Romans–Passionate Christian Theology
Romans 15, The Message
“I have one request, dear friends: Pray for me. Pray strenuously with and for me–to God the Father, through the power of our Master Jesus, through the love of the Spirit…”
Paul kept going, listening to the Holy Spirit guide him, through challenges, circumstances beyond his control, beatings and jail time for preaching and teaching the Good News of salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ.
No matter what life throws at us, this small passage reminds me to focus on Jesus, yes, but to have enough wisdom in me to ask that other believers pray with me. And that is what I am doing this morning.

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for this reminder to always ask others to pray with us, for there is strength in banding together in loving, passionate prayer for each other. Lesson learned. As I pray for others who are in need of a Healer, Savior and Lord, I realize others could pray for my strength to keep going, living for You while facing all challenges head on, eyes on You, with You going ahead of us. Thank you, dear Lord. May Your Holy Spirit guide every thought and action today.
In Jesus Name, Amen
