On a mission…
What a testimony to the One and Only Paul serves as we read his last words to the church people in Galatia. He begins, after much dispute over a church doctrinal issue, “For my part”…. Paul brings the discussion to a close with what the central issue is…the Truth in the Person of Jesus Christ who died on a cross for our sins, rose from the grave and lives again. Take joy my friends in what you read today. Shout Hallelujah! Sing praises all day long! What a testimony of praise to Jesus!
Galatians 6, The Message
14-16 For my part, I am going to boast about nothing but the Cross of our Master, Jesus Christ. Because of that Cross, I have been crucified in relation to the world, set free from the stifling atmosphere of pleasing others and fitting into the little patterns that they dictate. Can’t you see the central issue in all this? It is not what you and I do—submit to circumcision, reject circumcision. It is what God is doing, and he is creating something totally new, a free life! All who walk by this standard are the true Israel of God—his chosen people. Peace and mercy on them!
17 Quite frankly, I don’t want to be bothered anymore by these disputes. I have far more important things to do—the serious living of this faith. I bear in my body scars from my service to Jesus.
18 May what our Master Jesus Christ gives freely be deeply and personally yours, my friends. Oh, yes!
My prayer of challenge for all of us…
–Live like Paul, on a mission, freely serving Jesus who loves us enough, more than enough,to save us, to give us hope, joy and an eternity with Him.
–Live on a mission with a personal, deeply rooted relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ His Son.
–And May the Holy Spirit continue to teach us, make course corrections in our journeys while we are on this mission called life abundant, living and growing more deeply in love with our Savior and our Lord.

In Jesus Name, Amen
