Psalms of Honesty and Truth
We are so full of ourselves at times, that a fog sweeps over our souls and clouds our thinking causing our senses to be dull. We stumble through this fog, bumping into circumstances that shadows our thinking and behaving even more. How can we rise above the fog as a plane is able to do, ascending the altitude, until it is on top of the fog? How do we fly like eagles, rising on the wind of His Holy Spirit, meeting God on his terms, thinking more like He thinks and then behaving more like Jesus taught us? Higher goals. Higher thinking. Seeing signs of God’s Presence in our lives at last!
Maybe it begins as the Psalmist begins the next song…with a shout of “HALLELUJAH!” I love it! Call God by Name! Pray to Him in the Name of Jesus, His Son, who saved us. “Belt out hymns” of praise and adoration for the One and Only who can be trusted and loves us beyond our wildest dreams. Do you feel us rising? He had me at the first hallelujah!
Psalm 105, The Message
1-6 Hallelujah!
Thank God! Pray to him by name!
Tell everyone you meet what he has done!
Sing him songs, belt out hymns,
translate his wonders into music!
Honor his holy name with Hallelujahs,
you who seek God. Live a happy life!
Keep your eyes open for God, watch for his works;
be alert for signs of his presence.
Remember the world of wonders he has made,
his miracles, and the verdicts he’s rendered—
O seed of Abraham, his servant,
O child of Jacob, his chosen.
He’s God, our God,
in charge of the whole earth.
And he remembers, remembers his Covenant—
for a thousand generations he’s been as good as his word.

Yes! Hallelujah and Amen! I believe and I will always sing of His love, care, protection, provision and salvation. Hallelujah, God is at work and never stops, never sleeps. Watch for Him…even today!
In Jesus Name, Amen
