Psalms of Honesty and Truth

In an ever changing world, where attitudes shift, promises broken, leadership comes and goes, and people move all around the globe there is a constant…God. He is unchangeable, what He said at the beginning is still what He says now. His promises are kept and His love unconditional, He will ALWAYS be with those He loves and loves Him back. His law that guides our behavior and convicts our hearts to repent will never change. His plan to save us is still the same…His Son made that happen. His Holy Spirit still speaks comfort and guidance to our listening hearts. He is God and we are not. That will never change. For this, we give thankful praise! Yes, God is…everything to us, the One always for us, and the One who gives the best. What can I give back to Him? All of me, with a grateful heart.

Psalm 93, New Living Translation

1 The Lord is king! He is robed in majesty.
Indeed, the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength.
The world stands firm
and cannot be shaken.
2 Your throne, O Lord, has stood from time immemorial.
You yourself are from the everlasting past.
3 The floods have risen up, O Lord.
The floods have roared like thunder;
the floods have lifted their pounding waves.
4 But mightier than the violent raging of the seas,
mightier than the breakers on the shore—
the Lord above is mightier than these!
5 Your royal laws cannot be changed.
Your reign, O Lord, is holy forever and ever.
